This is my good friend, Sara. We have been friends for over ten years. We went to Rochester to spend the night in a hotel just for the fun of it. We were going to go to the cities and then we decided that it'd be easier to just not go as far and stay in Rochester. We kept saying how old we were getting:-p We're just not as fun as we use to be! So, for fun I highlighted Sara's hair and waxed her eyebrows. She has been wanting to have me highlight her hair and we just haven't had time. It turned out SO well. We bother thought it really turned out well! It was a good Carmel color. And, I'm jealous of her good eyebrows. I told her she has to keep them up now, cause they are so pretty! She was such a good sport. She gets to be the sister I never had, never had to be able to do things like that with:-) I felt like the amount of time we were up there, we ate a lot! Red Lobster and Applebee's, all in about twelve hours. It was fun.... That was my Friday night/Saturday morning.

We are watching Callie the dog for some friends that are out of town. We love dog sitting. Matt's LOVES dogs, so he's in heaven. When I was gone last night he had a lot of fun and quality time w/ Callie. Tonight we took her for a swam in the Mississippi River. She was fetching a HUGE stick - about three times her length - it was cute, I think she was very proud of being able to do that. Matt gave her a good rinse when we got home.

We are going to watch a movie now...

The Championship Game...

Championship softball game. We lost worse then we have all year! It was a FUN game though. It was a fun team to lose to, they were very good natured. Notice the puddle that Greg is standing in? It rained and rained before the game. Made things pretty muddy.

Here the wives are (well, some of them *Sarah Fellman*) We did such a good job cheering! The other team was kind of making fun of us we were cheering so loud and so much:-) It was fun though. We were in the dug out so as not to get wet. The sun did come out though at the end.

Our kind of sad loss..

Matt's mom, sister (her kids) and his brother came to watch the last game. This is his brother, Chris. I was just taking some modeling pictures of him:-) It was a fun night!

This is Macy, our neice! She's a cutie..

We'll be on the water soon..

We are in the process of getting the boat up and running. This is a picture of Matt holding $106.16 worth of licence, registration and letters for the boat. Matt did some more calling around today to see what it would cost to replace lots of hoses and such.. It looks like it maybe won't cost as much as we had thought it would cost. We're happy about that. I think Matt's excited:-) I am too... but he's cute about it! It'll be fun to be out on the water in our own boat! We are going to the cabin Labor Day weekend and want it for then - we shall see!

Saturday evening

We went to a Logger's game on Saturday night. Matt got four tickets from work, so Sarah, Kevin, Matt and I went. It was fun.. Here are some very pretty clouds as the sun was setting..

Just a neat picture..

The other team...

Just a cool picture that I touched up for fun..

We didn't stay til the end. It was sooo long. After every inning, they do some little show/game thing, usually with kids in them. It's fun for a little while and then you just want to see them play three whole innings w/o all that horsing around. It's fun to do once a year, though. We had a lot of goodies from the concession:-)

Saturday..

On Saturday we were on our way to go canoeing and stopped to get gas at Nodine - this was their sign! It says, "Come Dike s!" and is suppose to say, "Welcome Bike's!" The "wel" fall off and they didn't have enough "B's" so they thought a "D" would do:-) Matt said I should go in and ask where the dike's were... and act disappointed. I didn't! Oh, leave it to Nodine truck stop.... I told Matt this was just the start to an interesting day - we are after all a Fahrendholz and a Nelson (now two Nelson's!).

We dropped the canoe and back down to the bottom and then we biked back up to the canoe, got in and then floated back down to the car. It was fun! The canoe was full though. Here is our fearless conqueror!

Some geese sunning themselves:-) There were about 15 of them all together..

The end of our trip.. "Rushford" in the hill... this is the prettiest part of the trip I think... it's so wide and calm..

It was a beautiful day to be out on the river! We had such a good time - we said this is another reason we don't have kids, we don't have to take them with and we don't have to pay a babysitter when we get home:-p It was a wonderful little trip. We hadn't done it since we were dating. It was fun..

God's beauty all around us...

I was out taking more pictures of my yard. My neighbors must think I'm crazy. I took too many to even put on here, so I collaged them to make them smaller..

Make today count, look around you and see all God's amazing beauty and detail...

All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts; but the word of the Lord remains forever.
