I Guess Malachi has been talking about going fishing for months. He's perk up if anyone said anything about fish or fishing - it was cute. So, they finally got some worms and his little snoopy pole and away he went.....
He threw his little pole in (this is all AFTER Matt and his dad had been doing "real" fishing for about an hour) and he caught a fish on the first worm, first cast. He was thrilled! He was so cute. He'd say things like, "Oh, I could keep him as my pet..." Ahh, yeah, or eat him! He just kept catching them! Matt changed to a bobber and worm (nothing a real fisherman would ever use) and he started to catch fish!

Matt was catching and kissing fish! They were trying to tell Malachi that you had to kiss your first fish caught. He did not buy that! Matt was trying to get him to do it here. I even kissed a fish. I already have a prince though!
It looked like so much fun, w/ that snoopy pole, that Katie shoved the little kid out of the way and caught one herself! No, she really didn't do that:-) Katie is much too sweet to do that. Malachi was getting board I think, it was like he had caught about five fish and then it wasn't a challenge anymore. Isn't Katie cute!? So proud...

The snoopy fishing pole used to be Christa's, glad someone is getting some use out of it!
