{ps this is NOT my bread! Mine doesn't look this good...}

Sourdough Bread

3/4 cup warm water
4 cups bread flour
1 3/4 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 3/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  1. Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.

Makes one (2 pound) loaf.


This is a new recipe. I lost my bread machine recipe book for now. ugh. I'll find it. So far the sourdough bread has been my favorite. It's the lightest and most fluffy. We will see if I like this recipe as well as the last.

I am so going to make a starter...its my goal once I'm finally unemployed. Have I told you I want a wheat grinder...ALOT.
